Gary Michael Lloyd, age 76 of Manistee died peacefully at his home on Monday, July 14, 2025.

He was born of March 22, 1949 in Port Huron, Michigan the son of the late Elwyn C. & Dorothy W. (Gulley) Lloyd. He was a 1967 graduate of Christiani High School in Newark, Delaware and earned his Associate's Degree at Salem Tech in New Jersey. On November 27, 1971 he married Constance Sue Rich at Westhaven Baptist Church in Port Huron, Michigan.

Gary had a 37 year career with Morton Salt Company, working in Marysville, MI, Weeks Island, LA, Detroit, MI, and Manistee, MI.

He was a member of Victory Baptist Church. Along with his wife they taught Children's Church for over 50 years. Gary enjoyed playing basketball, football, & softball.

Survivors include his wife; Connie, three grandchildren; Brendan Michael Garlock, Emily Elizabeth McGaffigan, and Andrew Patrick McGaffigan, his siblings; Bruce (Barbara) Lloyd, Sandra (Carl) Mayers, Beverly Bowns, Linda (Henry) Kettles, and Kathy Lloyd, and lifelong friend; Bill Miles of Maryland.

Gary was preceded in death by three daughters; Amy Lloyd, Melissa McGaffigan, and Rachael Hensley, and siblings; David Lloyd, Mildred Parrish, & Sharon Miller.

Funeral Services for Gary M. Lloyd will be held Friday, July 18, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Grove Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Manistee with Pastor Darrell Storvik officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Manistee. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6-8 PM and from 10:00 AM until time of service on Friday.

Memorials in Gary's name may be directed to Victory Baptist Church.
