DEGRAFF - Gary Wayne Maddy, 59, of DeGraff, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 10, 2025, at his home.
He was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on June 15, 1965, a son of the late Melvin Thomas Maddy and Monabell (Hoffman) Maddy.
Gary is survived by four nephews, Mitchell A. (Mandy) Maddy, Eric (Kathi) Maddy, Kevin (Susan) Maddy, and Donnie (Larissa) Iler; and a brother-in-law, Don Iler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Connie Iler; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Thomas (Rita) Maddy, and Robert (Cheryl) Maddy.
Gary owned and operated Maddy's Junk Yard and was a "horse trader" in the car world.
There will be no public services at this time. Inurnment will be in Greenwood-Union Cemetery in DeGraff, Ohio at the convenience of the family. Gary will be greatly missed by all of us. We appreciated his humor, kindness, and "upfront no nonsense needed" approach to life. He was one of the few that still honored a lot of the old school ways. We are deeply saddened but hope & pray his spirit is soaring high.

Our condolences to the Maddy family.My family and I knew Gary from Maddy´s Junkyard he was a great guy always willing to be of help in times of needing part´s for your vehicle or vehicles. He had a great sense of humor and a laugh and smile like no other. He will surely be missed by a lot of people! RIHeavenly Peace Buddy I´m going to miss you Gary!!
