Gary Magoni Obituary
Born February 18, 1947 in Dubois, PA, he was the son of the late Julius and Emilene Magoni (Mater).
Gary was the former Regional Vice President of Tractor Supply, and he was a faithful member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church.
An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing and enjoyed even more telling the stories of his adventures. He also enjoyed cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Indiana University Hoosiers football team. Above all, he cherished spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters, and he loved hearing all about their swimming and gymnastics accomplishments. Gary will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his son, Paul Michael (Megan) Magoni of Zionsville, IN; his granddaughters, Marin, Elise and Jillian; and his sister, Judy Scully.
In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Rita "Ree" Boylan Magoni, who passed away on July 28, 2025; and his son, Edward A. Magoni, who passed away on August 2, 2017.
A private family gathering and Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Pennsylvania, with arrangements entrusted to Boylan Funeral Home, Inc., 116 E. Main St., Evans City, PA 16033.
He will be laid to rest at Evans City Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made in his honor to the Indiana Hemophilia and Thrombosis Center, 8326 Naab Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46260.
