Gary N. Main Jr.

Gary N. Main, Jr., 52 of Boothbay passed away on the evening of January 22, 2026. Gary was born January 31, 1973, in Boothbay to Gary Main, Sr. and Rita Buxton. Gary spent most of his childhood between both Woolwich and Boothbay. Gary worked as a construction worker for Crooker's Construction for over ten years earlier on in his career then found his home as a mechanic and plumber for Johnson & Jordan Mechanical Contracting for over 20 years for which he was a very dedicated, hard worker.

Gary was well known for being a genuine, straight forward person who was always willing to help a friend or family who were in need. Gary was a very devoted husband and father. He spent every moment caring for his wife and daughter, loving them in his way and providing everything that was needed which they loved him so much for. His personality was infectious, especially at a burn barrel surrounded by good friends and family. He enjoyed music, especially listening to his favorite bands, AC/DC and KISS. In his younger years he was happiest riding his 3 wheelers and dirtbikes. Gary had a knack for tackling any challenge and would solve the challenges often to the amazement of those around him. Gary was the happiest when he was with his close friends and family. All these memories will be cherished.
