Gary Martin Obituary
An artist at heart, Gary spent a lifetime creating beautiful drawings, paintings, sculptures, and intricately designed Ukrainian Easter eggs. With an endlessly curious and intellectual mind, Gary enjoyed reading everything from horror to astronomy. A cat lover, home chef, and classical and rock and roll music aficionado, Gary's spirit will be missed by all who love him.
Gary is survived by his children Eric (Lisa) Martin, Scott Martin, Marisa (Luke) Lewandowski, and stepdaughter Christina (Jeff) Drown. Gary leaves behind granddaughters Lucy Martin, Ella and Charlotte Lewandowski, and stepgrandsons Justin and Ryan Garwood. He is also survived by his sisters Peggy Thomas and Karen Ballard.
He was preceded in death by his spouse, Janice Martin; his mother, Edna Maxine Martin; and his father, Willis Ralph Martin.
The family will host a private gathering to celebrate Gary's life. Anyone whose life he touched is welcome to reach out to [email protected] so the family may share the details with you.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Animal Rescue League.
