Beloved son of Mildred and Edward (deceased), loving father to Draven, super-hero brother to Jamie and Deborah, wisdom imparting uncle to Bradley (Kelsey) and great-uncle to Peyton. Out of high school after working for someone else, Gary decided he wanted to be his own boss. His first business was Grade-A-Landscape, a successful landscaping company that evolved into a concrete business. Tired of the backbreaking manual labor, Gary was driven to do something radically different. After taking a cooking class and building a smoker at home, he contemplated selling his barbequed meats and decided to build a food truck. On a whim he listed the truck on eBay, it sold in less than 3 hours to an out-of-town bidder. Several of losing bidders expressed interest in having him build additional food trucks and the rest is history. Many of the food trucks on the road today were built by him. Always looking for a challenge, he started running in his free time. He was soon running marathons. When those were no longer enough of a challenge, he started swimming and biking. He successfully completed two Iron Man triathalon's (Mont Tre Blanc and Chattanooga) and many other smaller events. A Memorial Gathering will be held SATURDAY, OCTOBER 11, 2025 from 2PM-6PM with a Memorial Service to begin at 6PM at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 15822 PEARL RD, STRONGSVILLE. Private burial at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: Marine Corp Scholarship Foundation 909 N. Washington Street, Suite 400 Alexandria, VA 22314 Or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital [email protected]
