I'm very sad to say that my husband Gary L McQuistion of Smithfield OH passed away suddenly, April 22, 2024 he was 73. He was a Vietnam Combat Veteran with the rank of Sgt and National defense Service Medal, Vietnam service Medal with 2 bronze service stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal with 60 devices, combat Infantryman's badge, army commendation medal, and Air Metal. he also was Navy Veteran rank of Chief petty officer 3rd class and stationed to the USS Nemitz. We were married for 40 years. He leaves behind two brothers Wayne (Laura) McQuistion, Dennis McQuistion and four sisters Colleen, Robin, Elaine, and Jenette. Our children are
Lloyd McQuistion, Cody McQuistion, 37, Gary's daughter Trudy Jo (McQuistion) Minard and her 4 children. Also our grandchildren, Jayda Starr McQuistion & her son our great grandson Kyan Burk, Calvin Risdon, Camdyn McQuistion, our daughter in law Justine (Barcus) McQuistion. He was preceded in death by our daughter Amber Joy McQuistion, his parents Ralph & Beatrice (Garwood) McQuistion. He also leaves behind many friends and extextened family. Gary requested no viewing or funeral. He will be cremated by Schutz Funeral Home in Mingo Junction OH. He also requested his cremains be taken to Lusk Lock in Elkton OH.
