Gary “Mike” Michael Cale, 56 of Wilson passed away Monday, January 26, 2026. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, January 29, 2026, at Tabernacle Baptist Church, Wilson. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 30, 2026, in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. Pastor Joe Shakour and Pastor Randy Jones will officiate.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 – 6:45 p.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 1815 Airport Boulevard, Wilson.
Mike is survived by his daughters, Megan Vargas and husband, Angel of Selma, Susan Edwards and husband, Matthew of Smithfield, and Sarah Eschenberg and husband, Kyle of Selma; grandchildren, Samuel, Ryker, Luna, Nora, Hudson, Adaleigh, and Sadie; mother, Susan Jean Dew Cale of Wilson; sister, Bobbie J. Mincey of Wilson, and his brothers, Blake Cale and wife, Peggy of Wilson, and Bruce Cale of Wilson.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willis Bobby Cale and his beloved niece, Emily Mincey.
Flowers are welcome or consider memorials in Mike’s memory to Tabernacle Baptist Church, Senior Ministries, 1815 Airport Boulevard, Wilson, North Carolina 27893.
