Justin was born in Burke County, NC on January 11, 1983, to Jeri E. Morrow and the late Gary Lee Morgan. He was a lifelong member of Maranatha Baptist Church and never knew a stranger. Justin was a very devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and a fan of NC State football. He was an avid golfer and, in his youth, was a Golden Glove boxer. Justin will always be remembered for the love he gave his Granny. He will be greatly missed.
In addition to his father, Justin was preceded in death by a sister, Mindy Morgan.
Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Jeri Gilliland (Rodney); a son, Ethan; a daughter, Hazel; three brothers, Kyle Morgan (Jennie), Joseph Gilliland, and Mitchell Gilliland; two sisters, Megan Gilliland and Jamie Riddle; and many special aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 29, 2025, at the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service. Rev. Ivan Baker will officiate and Rev. Daniel Brenneman will assist. Burial will follow at the Providence Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his children.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff of Hospice of Carolina Foothills, especially Van, for the care they provided Justin.
