Gary Morrison Obituary
Fenton
Age 77, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2024. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at Lake Fenton United Methodist Church, 2581 N. Long Lake Road, Fenton. Pastor Vincent Slocum officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held Monday from 2-8 PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton and at church Tuesday from 10 AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Lake Fenton United Methodist Church.
Gary was born May 8, 1946 in Flint, the son of Estis and Eleanor (Roome) Morrison. He was a 1964 graduate of Southwestern High School in Flint. He married Karen Helen Knapp July 9, 1983 in Flint. He had resided in Fenton since 1985 coming from Flint. Gary worked many years in the automotive and truck parts business. He attended Lake Fenton United Methodist Church. He enjoyed trains, models, woodworking, and doing home remodeling.
Surviving are: his wife, Karen; children, Gary (Sharon) Morrison of Burton, Brian (Amber) Morrison of Florida and Mark (Kimberly) Knapp of Georgia; 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jeffrey Morrison; and siblings, Ann Welch, Fred Morrison and Dale Morrison. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
