Gary Oline Obituary
Age 85, a resident of Ranchos de Taos, NM, passed away on October 22, 2025. Gary was born on January 21, 1940, to Joseph and Pauline Oline in Springfield, Illinois. He graduated from Iowa University, Iowa City, with a degree in Actuarial Science. He and his wife, Barbara, met in college and were married for 62 years. He worked at National Old Line Insurance Company for 36 years as an actuary. Gary served as treasurer for the Lions Club of Taos for seventeen years and enjoyed meeting with "The Geezers" every Friday for lunch. He served as an elder in the Ranchos Presbyterian church in Ranchos de Taos. Gary is survived by his wife Barbara, and two sons, Mike (Ronda) and Joe (fiancé Christina); granddaughters Ashley (Jun), Haley and Kaitlyn (Cedric); great-granddaughter Zoe; and grandson Chris. Service will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025, at 10:00am at the Ranchos Presbyterian church, Ranchos de Taos. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Ranchos Presbyterian church, P.O. Box 879, Ranchos de Taos, NM 87557. Gary has been such a blessing to Tom and I and all who have gotten to know him and Barbara via Ranchos Presbyterian Church. The many Sunday Brunches and other times of visiting will always be treasured memories. May God give Gary´s soul rest and Gary´s Family comfort at knowing Gary is with Jesus in Heaven. We will miss seeing Gary next to Barbara each Sunday morning.
