Gary Duane Pratt, born on October 13, 1953 and passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends on August 26, 2025.

Gary is preceded in death by parents Archie and Marguerite Pratt, brother Richard Pratt and granddaughter Jillian Pratt. He is survived by his wife of 44 years Jill (Redman) Pratt, son Jeremy, daughter-in-law Jenice (Kloos), granddaughter Abigail and grandson Alex Pratt, brother LeRoy Pratt of Grand Marais, nephews and many friends.

Gary had a love for the outdoors and wildlife, he would spend his time feeding the birds, deer, cranes and any other wildlife in his yard. In the past several years he has been fixing up his home in Chisago City and building a camper from the frame of his parents 1970s camper. Gary loved to cook and was always trying new recipes and sharing them. Gary was a collector of all things and could remember anything, he also loved to make people laugh! He adored his family especially his grandchildren! He will be missed dearly by many people who knew him and loved him.

Our family would like to thank everyone at Ecumen Hospice who helped us during the past few months. You really helped make Gary's wish of staying at home possible.

In lieu of flowers please donate to a charity close to your heart.

A memorial gathering will take place from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom.
