Gary B. Prosser, 69, of Allenport, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. A son of the late Louis and Lois (Pezzelle) Prosser, he was born in Youngstown, OH on July 29, 1955.
A U.S. Navy Veteran, Gary was formerly of Monessen and has been a resident of Allenport for the past eleven years. Now retired, Gary was a building manager in Cleveland. He loved paintball and softball, playing on mutiple teams. Gary was the 'Life of the Party' and a very loving, giving person and would've given the shirt off his back to any one that needed it.
He is survivored by his wife of 44 years, Suzanne (Alfred) Prosser; five children, Jamie (Erika) Prosser of Washington, PA, Gary Prosser of Charleroi, Tara (Dennis) Doggett of Florida, Jennifer Wileman of New Castle, and Jodie (Christopher) Puscar of Cleveland, OH; three brothers, Lou B. (Karen) Prosser of San Diego, CA, David B. (Connie) Prosser of Whitensville, MA, and Gordon C. (Joni) Prosser of Chardon, OH. Special thanks to Casey Jackson and Rebecca Runkle, whom Gary felt were like his own, for always being there. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great granchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins, and his best furry friends, Leo, Harley Sue, Serenity, Sassy, and Skittles. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Scott Prosser and a sister, Peggi Prosser.
There will be no public visitation or services at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ferguson Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc 700 Broad Avenue Belle Vernon, 724-929-5300. www.FergusonFuneralHomeandCrematory.com.
