Gary T Rahaim

Gary T. Rahaim, 70, of Gardner, died peacefully at home on July 3, 2023, following an illness. Gary was born on January 3, 1953 in Gardner, MA, son of the late Arnold and Marian (Armstrong) Rahaim.
Gary graduated from Gardner High School in 1971. He was employed at Holden Hills Country Club as part of the grounds crew, retiring in 2021. He was previously employed by Happy House Amusements as well as Westminster Country Club, where he served as assistant golf pro. For many years he owned and operated Driver's Unlimited in Gardner.
Gary was an accomplished bowler, golfer and angler winning many awards over the years. He loved following the Boston Red Sox. As a member of social clubs in Gardner, he served as Exalted Ruler for BPOE 1426 and President of the Napoleon Club in Gardner.
Gary will be missed by his wife of 42 years, Donna (Michalewicz) Rahaim; his four children, Angela Richard and her husband Jamie and their daughters Olivia, Charlotte and Harper of Templeton, MA, Stacy Brown and her husband Adam and their daughter Ada of North Bend WA, Nicholas Rahaim and his wife Adele and their son William of Fitzwilliam NH, Katherine Rahaim of Framingham MA; and one sister, Dr. Donna Allen of Nampa, ID; several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many life-long friends. Gary was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Brice Allen, earlier in 2023.
A funeral service for Gary will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, 627 Green St, Gardner, MA, on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at 2:00 pm. Immediately following the service, family and friends are also invited to honor and celebrate Gary's life with a gathering at the Gardner Trout Club, 36 Watkins St, Gardner, MA. Burial is scheduled for a later date and will be private.
