Mr. Gary S. Ritter, age 80, of Harrogate passed away October 30, 2025, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center unexpectedly. He was born February 6, 1945, Romulus, NY to Sidney and Kay Ritter who precede him in death. Gary retired from his landscaping business Southern Express after 30 years of making a beautiful curb appeal. He was of the Christian faith. Gary loved sports and played football for Waterloo High School. He was an avid outdoorsman. Gary was loved by many and will be greatly missed, especially by his cat "Hobo".
He is preceded in death by his parents Sidney and Kay Ritter. His beloved cat "Kimmie". He is survived by his son Gary "Skip" Ritter and wife Joann, grandchildren Patrick Ritter, Tessa Olayer and husband Nate, and Shanna Gardner. Close special friends Dana Ives and Beverly Boling as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Per Gary's requests a private memorial service will be held later.
