Gary Roan

Gary Stephen Roan, age 76, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026, in his home. He was born to Elmer and Idris (Borton) Roan on February 6, 1950.

Gary was a 1968 graduate of Hudson High School. He then proudly served his country in the United States Navy until his honorable discharge in 1972. After his time in the Navy, Gary went to work for M&S Manufacturing as a screw machine operator and retired from Alpine Manufacturing in 2015.

Honoring Gary's memory are his sons, James (Andrea) Roan, John (Kelly) Roan, Joseph Roan; special friend, William Osgood; sisters, Susan (Michael) Marry, Tina (Steve) Snider, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Preceding him death are his parents, brother Lurly Roan, and the mother of his sons Patricia Roan.

The family will receive friends for visitation at the Marry Funeral Home, Hudson, on Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. until the funeral service begins at 12:00 p.m. Fr. Todd Koenigsknecht will officiate. Burial will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
