Funeral Services Celebrating the Life of Mr. Gary Earl Roberson, 74, of Calhoun, Louisiana, will be 3:00 PM Sunday, January 19, 2025, at First Baptist Church of Calhoun, with Rev. Eric Green officiating.
Gary was born August 20, 1950, and passed away on January 15, 2025. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Calhoun. Gary was a retired truck driver for Davison Transportation Services and Murphy Bros. Trucking and Construction. He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed growing a garden, hunting and fishing. Gary loved spending time with his sons, but his pride and joy was spending time with his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Ina Hudson Roberson; sister, Barbara Ann Brantley; and grandson, Colby Roberson.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Sonja Stanton Roberson; two sons, Aaron Roberson and his wife to be, Carrie, and Lance Roberson and his wife, Veronica; five grandchildren, Blake Roberson, Brooke Roberson, Gabbie Roberson, Gracie Roberson, and Strawberry Roberson; brother, Butch Roberson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM Sunday, January 19, 2025, at First Baptist Church of Calhoun.
Memorials may be made in his memory to First Baptist Church of Calhoun.
