Gary Paul Rose

Gary Paul Rose, 71 of North Adams died on Friday, October 17, 2025 at North Adams Regional Hospital. Gary was born in North Adams on June 24, 1954 a son of the late Leo Paul Rose & Doris Marie (Lincoln) Rose. Gary graduated from McCann Technical high School and was a veteran of the US Army where he served as a medic. He was employed as a metal spinner for Lovallo Metal Spinning. Before that, he worked for Berkshire Metal Spinning for many years. Gary enjoyed woodworking, fishing, camping bird watching and loved dogs. Gary was the widow of Gloria Jean (Harrington) Rose who died April 2, 2021. They were married on June 25, 1977. Gary leaves two daughters, Rebecca J. Houghtaling (Tim) of Stamford, VT, Christine L. Costa of North Adams and a son, James P. Rose (Rebecca) of Cheshire, MA. He also leaves 5 grandchildren including, Bryson Rose, Evan Rose, Stephanie McGrath, Richard Winters III, Cortney Williams. He also leaves his sisters, Susan Rose of North Adams and Kathy Tanguay of North Adams as well as a brother, Allan Rose of North Adams and his former son in law Josh Costa and many nieces and nephews.
