Gary Sanders Obituary
He was born February 27, 1955 in Dennison, Ohio, and was the son of the late Robert L. "Jack", Jr. and Alta Mae (Baker) Sanders.
Gary was a retired truck driver, having driven for various businesses over the years. His most recent employment was with Jim Romig Excavating at Sherrodsville. Gary was enjoying his retirement. He preferred to stay home and plant his vegetable garden and flowers around his home, and caring for his lawn in the summertime. He always liked driving his truck. Gary also looked forward to attending his granddaughter Hadley's Skeet Shooting matches.
He is survived by his wife, Michelle L. (Endicott) Sanders, whom he married June 23, 2001, a son, Gary D. Sanders, Jr. of Dover, OH, two step-daughters, Amy Theodore of East Sparta, OH, and Mrs. Janae (Larry) Norberg of Carrollton, OH, a step-son, Randy Fluty of Waynesburg, OH, eight grandchildren and a great-granddaughter, and his four brothers, Gerald (Brenda) Sanders and Bryan "Doug" (Cathy) Sanders, both of Sherrodsville, Carl (Marla) Sanders of Dellroy, OH, and Terry Sanders of Sherrodsville.
No formal funeral services are planned. The Baxter-Gardner Funeral Home at Sherrodsville has been entrusted with his cremation arrangements. To leave an online condolence message please visit the funeral home website.
