Gary Sassman Obituary

On February 5, 1990, he married the love of his life, Carol Lee Williams. The couple shared a wonderful life together until her passing on January 29, 2024. Gary was a dedicated member of his Baptist church community and was known for his talent and love for woodworking, which he shared with friends and family over the years.
He is survived by his sons, Rollie Sassman, Robert Sassman and wife Amy, and Jeff Sassman and wife Juliana. He also leaves behind his brother, Steve Sassman; his sister, Jeanie Longacre; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought him great joy.
In addition to his beloved wife Carol, Gary is preceded in death by his son, John Sassman.
