Gary F. Schiefelbein, 61, of Fairwater, passed away on August 25, 2025 at his home. Gary was born June 7, 1964 to Elmer and Marcella Schiefelbein.

Gary spent his whole life farming. He started off farming alongside his parents before eventually taking over the family farm in Oshkosh, WI. He expanded the farm by purchasing a heifer facility in Pickett and then purchased a farm in Brandon, WI. During EAA, he would use the Oshkosh farm for camping spaces.

After selling the farm, Gary couldn't sit still. He took up a job at the local feed mill. The folks he met there became friends. If he wasn't working, he was lending a hand wherever he could or he'd stop in just to BS.

Gary's comical banter was enjoyed by many. He had a way with words, even if they were a little colorful (or very colorful).

Gary will be dearly missed by his children Melissa (Tyler) Haffenbredl, Bailey Schiefelbein, Mikey Wagner and Hailie Heitmann; grandchildren Finley, Kali, and Stetson; as well as other relatives and friends.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Gene and Glen.

A celebration of Gary's life is being planned for a later date. The family is still waiting to hear if Taco Bell will cater.
