Mr. Gary Lee Seamans, age 83, of Wyalusing, PA, passed away early Tuesday morning, April 2, 2024, at the Guthrie Towanda Memorial Hospital.
Gary was born on January 18, 1941, in Nicholson, PA, a son of the late John Richard Seamans and Arlene G. Gow Roberts. He honorably served his country in the United States Army from 1958 until 1962 and then served in the Reserves until 1964. He married the former Phyllis Ann VanDeMark on June 7, 1968.
Gary worked driving truck for Edwards Bros. in Factoryville, and also Kintner Equipment in Wyalusing, and then retired from P&N Packing in Terrytown in 2003.
He was a member of the Wyalusing American Legion Post #534.
Gary enjoyed restoring vintage British motorcycles and his latest venture was restoring a vintage Mack Truck. Gary was very mechanical and could fix anything with a motor. Throughout his life he enjoyed the company of many Boxer dogs, and most recently his Boxer Rugie, who he greatly missed.

He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins and a special caregiver Trish Howe.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two sons: Robert Allen Bahr on June 7, 1982, and James Edward Bahr, Sr. on October 22, 2018. He was also predeceased by a brother Richard Seamans.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 1:00 PM in the Homer Funeral Home, 83 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, PA, with his son, Pastor Michael Bahr officiating. Interment will follow in the Wyalusing Cemetery.
Family and friends may call on Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 12:00 PM until the start of the service at 1:00 PM in the Homer Funeral Home, Wyalusing, PA.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Wyalusing American Legion Post #534, 89 Bowling Ally Road, Wyalusing, PA 18853.
