He is survived by four sons, Wayne M. Shell, Scott W. Shell, Mark A. Shell and Jason A. Shell; one daughter, Kelly A. Merchant, twelve grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one sister, Judy Collins, as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert Shell and longtime companion of 35 years, Judith Lecaroz in 2019.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 from 6 – 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Funeral services will begin at 8pm in the funeral home. Following cremation, private burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery, East Derry at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to NHSPCA, 104 Portsmouth Ave, Stratham, NH 03885.
