Gary Dean Simmons

Gary Dean Simmons, lifelong resident of Fairview Heights, Ill., passed away November 30, 2025 at the age of 64. Gary was born March 5, 1961, the youngest of four children born to John and Virginia, nee Hoge, Simmons. They have preceded him in death.

A graduate of Belleville High School, Gary enjoyed the classic rock music of the 80's. He played in a pool league in his younger years and enjoyed NASCAR and going to stock car races.

Gary is survived by his son Jonathan L. Simmons of O'Fallon; siblings John Simmons, Debra Schopp, and Karen Stefani; former wife Angela Snyder-Simmons; and his grand-dog Ernie.

Memorial visitation will be held from 4- 7 pm, Friday, December 12, 2025 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, 102 W. Washington St., O'Fallon, Ill.
