In Loving Memory of

Gary David Stanfill

12/12/1954 - 08/23/2025

Gary David Stanfill, 70, of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025 after a two year battle with kidney disease and related illnesses.

Gary was born on December 12, 1954 to Robert and Connie Stanfill in Haddon Heights, New Jersey. He received his degree from Ursinus College in Pennsylvania and made a career in the Air Force, retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant (E-8). After that, he joined the staff at TruGreen of San Antonio and worked there until his health began to fail. He spent the remainder of his retirement landscaping yards for his neighbors in Whisper Creek Subdivision.

He leaves behind his wife of 44 years, Terri G.(Taz) Stanfill, an artist and accountant and two fur babies, (Hodgdon) Powder and Berka (Fleury).

Gary was predeceased by his parents and survived by his brother, Robert C. Stanfill, III of New Jersey and his sister Linda C. Stanfill of Florida.

Graveside services will be held at 10:15am on Tuesday, September 16 at Fort Sam Houston Cemetery with a Celebration of Life to follow close by.
