Gary Stewart Obituary
Gary enjoyed woodworking, working on lawnmowers and spending time with his family.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence, and Louise Stewart; brothers, Randy, and Gregory Stewart; grandsons, Dalton Stewart, and Bryce Stewart.
Gary is survived by his wife of 57 years, Linda Stewart; children, Jody Stewart (Angie), Kristie Umbarger (Frank), Chad Stewart (Carrie); grandchildren, Lucas and Karlinda Umbarger, Dylan Stewart, Ryleigh Raines; brothers, Roger, and Ricky Stewart.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Howe's Chapel Baptist Church in Rogersville, TN. A funeral service be held at 1:00 PM with Pastor Lon Taylor officiating. A graveside service will follow at Howe's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jody, Chad and Dylan Stewart, Frank and Lucas Umbarger and Jerry Arrington.
We would like to extend a special thank you to the Holston Valley Medical Center Cardiac Intensive Care Unit doctor's and nurses for taking such great care of dad.
