I met Gary at TARDEC when he came to support the propulsion lab after he first began working at the Detroit Arsenal. He was a super guy and gentlemen who I enjoyed sharing many conversations about Army propulsion R&D, muscle cars, and life in general. It was very clear Gary loved his family very much and relished the time he spent with his wife and children. My condolences to his family. RIP, Gary.

I sat next to Gary, during a couple different assignments throughout the years at the U.S. Army Detroit Arsenal (although we worked in different teams). We would always talk music, guitars, manufacturing, etc. One story that's still fresh in my mind is when I met local blues icon, Lazy Lester. After telling Gary about my encounter, Gary loaned me one of Lazy Lester's CDs (of course Gary had Lazy Lester in his collection!). I always enjoyed Gary's company and wisdom. I never did get to hear Gary play that harmonica he always talked about. He said it is the most convenient instrument to practice, since it fits in your pocket - you can even practice at traffic lights! Try doing that with a piano. Will miss you, brother!

I was in Shock when informed about Gary's passing. We worked together in HTV on many projects and he was always so cool, calm voice and never seen him get mad. When we had meetings scheduled or offsites with the team,he always held his hand out with a firm handshake and seeing how you are with his signature smile. I wish the entire Stuber Family,Friends my heart felt prayers and thoughts for your loss and my truly great co-worker. Rest in Peace Gary. You will be missed.
