I just heard this heartbreaking news. Gary and I grew up together on Francisco Ave. He was my best buddy. We never worried if our ball ended up on a roof, there would go Gary climbing up to get it. Playing everyday with our Francisco group, the best. I will miss you Gary.

Our deepest condolences to Bree and the rest of the family... How can I deal with getting to the park as early as we must if Gary isn't there to talk with about the events of the day... He had strong opinions about almost everything, especially sports and politics! Really gonna miss you, Gary!

I was stunned to hear the news of Gary's passing. We vended together in the late 70s/early 80s and stayed friends ever since. Gary had a huge heart of gold and was as loyal and loving as a friend can be. We also shared the 49ers football team and always communicated when the Niners played. My deepest condolences to Breeann and all of Gary's friends and loved ones. His memory is a blessing for all of us and he lives on in our hearts. Rest in peace, Gary!

I was crushed by the news of Gary´s passing. He was one of the nicest people I have known; he never had an unkind word to say about anyone. My heartfelt condolences to the Tuch family. May Gary´s memory be for a blessing.

Gary´s sudden passing has hit me and I´m sure many others very hard. I knew Gary for over 50 years. He was one of a kind. Friendly with everyone. He had unending energy and was just full of enthusiasm for the people and friends in his life.

Bree, so sorry to hear about your dad. He was a wonderful person. Remembering him takes me back to our days in Skokie. We had some really good times. We had a lot of fun with the water fights. The one I remember most is when your dad slid his knee into the corner of a doorway. He asked us to call him an ambulance, so Tom goes "you´re an ambulance". And your dad says "no a Skokie ambulance" and Tom called him a Skokie ambulance. We all just laughed including your dad. He was a good man with a big heart. Will miss him.

My deepest condolences to Gary's family.
Gary was a great guy with a big heart and always willing to help. He absolutely loved his family, friends and of course his dogs (Tank, Vegas, Sadie). He will be truly missed.

I worked with Gary at Wrigley and knew him to be a "true Cub fan". He always had kind words to offer and some type of memory of the good ole days. As you told me in our phone tag conversation - take care bud - I hope the Lord grants you eternal rest.
