Teresa Ann Bailey, age 66, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2025, surrounded by the love of her life, Eddie Bailey, her four devoted children, and a circle of cherished family and friends who held her close during her final moments.

Her beloved niece, Lola, remained faithfully by her side for the past four years and especially at the end. Lola was always there to support Tery and Ed with unwavering love and care, offering strength, comfort, and quiet companionship during some of her most difficult days. Her brothers also spent significant time by her side, offering not only their presence but also words of hope, faith, and deep affection. Their visits were a profound gift-a reflection of the enduring family devotion that surrounded Teresa throughout her journey. Other family members, near and far, offered their support as well-through visits, heartfelt calls, thoughtful gestures, and practical help that reminded Teresa she was deeply loved and never alone.

Teresa was the beloved wife of 48 years to Eddie Bailey, her steadfast partner and best friend. Together, they built a life rooted in love, laughter, and unwavering support. She was the deeply loving mother of Eddie (Jessie) Bailey Jr., Daniel (Stephanie) Bailey, Lisa (Shawn) Schipp, and Douglas (Kate) Bailey, and the adoring grandmother whose heart overflowed for Nikita (Robert) Chase, Austin, Alaina (Kevin) Kopek, Evan, Emma, Logan, Lucas, Clare, Liam, Rory, Caroline, Harper, Connor, Carter, and Colton. Her joy multiplied with each great-grandchild-Mira, Tessa, Katalina, Kasia, and Caleb-whom she cherished with boundless love and delight.

She was the devoted daughter of the late Knute August Joseph Klotz and the late Dolores Marie Eckstein, whose love and values shaped the compassionate, generous woman she became. Teresa was the treasured sister of the late Christine (James) Zervos, Kathleen (Ted) Puls, Joseph (Frieda) Klotz, Knute II (Laurie) Klotz, Jacques (Britta) Klotz, and Maria (Gregg) Klotz. Adorable sister-in-law to Ruth Prescott (Jackie), Lois Harvey (Douglas), the late Earnest Bailey Jr., Patricia Smith (late Ronald), Barbara Garvin (Fred), Mary Applehans (Jim), William Bailey (late Marie), and Michael Bailey (Nancy). She was the adoring dogmother of Chase and a kind, generous aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

Teresa's presence was a gift to everyone she encountered. Her radiant positivity, boundless compassion, and fierce dedication to helping others left an indelible mark on countless lives. Whether offering a listening ear, a warm meal, or a shoulder to cry on, she gave of herself freely and joyfully. As a devoted nurse, she brought healing and comfort to her patients with grace and empathy, embodying the very best of her profession.

She loved deeply and lived gratefully. Teresa found beauty in everyday moments, and her heart overflowed with appreciation for her family, her faith, and the simple joys of life. Her home was a sanctuary of warmth and laughter, where stories were shared, hugs were abundant, and love was unconditional.

Teresa's legacy is one of profound impact-on her family, her community, and the world she touched with her kindness. Her absence leaves an immeasurable void, yet her spirit remains ever-present in the lives she shaped and the love she gave so freely. Her family takes comfort in knowing her final wishes were honored, and that she departed this world surrounded by the love she nurtured so beautifully.

She will be missed beyond measure and remembered forever. To those she loved most, she would always say-LUMTAOE (Love You More Than Any One Ever) XOXO.

A memorial mass will be held Saturday, November 8th at 10 am at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 135 S. Bueshing Road, Lake Zurich, IL. A private luncheon for close family and friends will follow at Beelows Steakhouse at 11:30 am, 763 S Rand Rd, Lake Zurich, IL 60047.

To honor Tery's memory, donations to help cover final arrangements are welcome in place of flowers. Your love and support mean the world to us.
