DUDLEY -Gary Turenne, age 68, of Southbridge died Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Southbridge Rehabilation of Southbridge, MA. Gary was born February 18, 1956 in Chicopee, MA. He is the son of the late Joseph R. Turenne and the late Theresa (Lemiuex) Turenne.
He is survived by two daughters: Stephanie Turenne and Amy Turenne and one son, Gary Turenne Jr. all of Leicester, MA, one sister Michele St. Germain of Shrewsbury, MA and two brothers: Mark Turenne of Ocala, FL and Sean Patrick Turenne of Pennsylvania. A grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Gary was born in Chicopee Mass to a military dad and his beautiful Mom. Before long they moved to Georgia, Connecticut, Lubbock, Texas, Izmir Turkey, San Antonio, Texas, and Maryland before settling in Dudley Ma with his family. Gary was lucky to have seen the Alamo, Carlsbad Caverns, visit Niagara Falls, Rome Italy and visit many tourist attractions on his travels through life.
Gary lived many years in Dudley raised at the family home on June St.. He graduated from SHRHS in 1975. He was employed by Stevens Linen for 15 years and worked at Milbrook Distributors.
Gary loved Elvis Presley, his music and his movies. He loved old westerns and liked to watch the news. Gary loved his candy but his favorite thing in the world was Oreo Cookies. He should have been a spokesperson for Nabisco he loved them so much. He enjoyed music and fishing with family and friends. Gary loved his family very much and he will be in their hearts forever.
A graveside service will be held 11 AM Thursday June 20 th at Sacred Heart Of Jesus Cemetery, Old Worcester Rd., Webster, MA.
