He was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Diane Skidmore Vineyard; parents, Kenneth and Geraldine Jenkins Vineyard.
Gary is survived by son, Jason Vineyard and wife, Kelly; daughter, Rachel Russell and husband, Jimmy; his grandchildren: Cody Vineyard, Hayden and Logan Powers, Macklyn and Bell Russell, Jamie and Sierra Russell; great-grandson, Miles Russell; sister and brother-in-law, Darlene and Gary Spoon; along with several nieces, nephews and extended family.
The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, August 1st at Click Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Scot Wells officiating. Graveside services and military honors will follow in the Loudon County Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Silver Ridge Baptist Church.
Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City was in charge of arrangements.
