Gavin Lee Kittle

Mr. Gavin Lee Kittle, age 26 years a resident of Belington, WV departed this life Tuesday evening December 30, 2025 at his home following a period of declining health.
He was born on April 7, 1999 at Elkins, WV, a son of the late Chad Jacob Kittle and Amy Wirtz Prichard, who survives in Fairmont. He had never married.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two brothers; Dylan Shane Kittle of Belington and Jarrett Prichard of Fairmont, his paternal grandmother; Linda Jean Kittle of Belington, maternal grandparents; Tammy and Joel Freeman of Junior. Additional survivors include his aunts; Karah Kittle and her daughter Jasiegh Mearns of Belington, RaChel Anderson of Junior, Ashley Cutright of Huttonsville, and an uncle; Andrew Freeman and wife Alys of French Creek, WV. Numerous cousins and extended family also survive.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather; Richard Wayne Kittle, and an uncle; Rick Wayne Kittle.
Gavin was a graduate from the Tygart Valley Christian Academy of Beverly with the class of 2017. He loved music and gaming. He enjoyed outdoor sports, fishing, and boating. He loved all animals, especially the family's pets. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Friends will be received from the Talbott Funeral Home 56 N. Brandenburg Street in Belington on Saturday January 3, 2026 from 5PM-8PM and again on Sunday January 4, 2026 from 8AM – 2PM the funeral hour when final rites will be conducted from the funeral home chapel with the Pastor Curlie Ray Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Sugar Creek Cemetery near Belington. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Animal Friends of Barbour County P.O. Box 452 Philippi, WV 26416.
