Gayle M. Williams. Age 83 passed away peacefully at Joan Nicole Prince Home after battling dementia on March 29, 2026. She was a loving mother to our three daughters and the love of my life.

Gayle was born in Schenectady, NY on December 15, 1942. She was the daughter of Clifford E. Tryon Sr. and Grace (Payne) Tryon.

She moved from Schenectady to the family farm in Charlton, NY in 1949. She graduated from Burnt Hills - Ballston Lake High school with her class of 1960. She was very supportive for any and all sporting activities. After graduation, she attended SUNY, Cobleskill, majoring in Business.

Gayle's employment started at Valley Chevrolet in Scotia, NY as a bookkeeper. She then went to Roland J. Down, Heating and Cooling as a bookkeeper, where she met her husband, David T. Williams, also working at Roland J. Down as a Commercial and Industrial service tech. She then went to Adams Heating and Cooling after Roland J Down was bought out by another company. She was also a bookkeeper until her stroke around 2013.

Gayle was a communicant and a member of The Rosary Alter Society of the Church of The Immaculate Conception in Glenville, NY, where she and David were married on October, 9, 1976.

Gayle is predeceased by her parents and our three daughters, Wendy Elizabeth Williams, Tracy Leigh Williams, and Tami Caroline Williams.

Gayle is survived by her husband of 49 years, David T. Williams, her brother Clifford E. Tryon, Jr, his wife Charlynn (Armer) Tryon, and her brother Gary P. Tryon. She is also survived by our two grandsons, Devin K. McKinstry, son of Tracy and Connor A. Ho, son of Tami.

Funeral services will be announced shortly.
