Geaneen Olger Obituary
Geaneen Ann Olger, of Portland, passed away on July 26, 2024 at the age of 71. She was born in Mt. Pleasant on February 18, 1953 to Harvey and Neita (Frantz) Blackmer. Geaneen was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. Her warmth and kindness touched all who knew her. Her creative spirit and talent brought happiness to those who were able to admire her work. Nature held a special place in Geaneen's heart. She loved spending time outdoors in her yard, whether it be gardening or bird watching. She was an involved volunteer with the Friends of the Red Mill, a group in which she found much joy and friendship in. Geaneen shared a love for travel with her husband Lynn, exploring the world together and creating cherished memories. Among their favorite destinations were fishing expeditions in Canada and visits to the picturesque Blue Ridge Mountains and the rugged beauty of the Badlands. Geaneen's legacy will live on through all who knew and loved her.
