Stewart Lynn Olger Jr.

It is with profound sadness that the family of Stewart Lynn Olger Jr., 46, of Laingsburg, MI announces his passing on Wednesday, March 12th, 2025. Stewart was born June 8th, 1978 in Lansing MI. He attended Perry High School, graduating in 1996.
The best of him remains on this earth through the loves of his life, his daughters Shaylyn, Sydney and Sophie Olger. Stewart is also survived by his mother Rosemary Olger, his father Stewart (Laura) Olger, and siblings Stacy (Lyle) Decker, Kelly (Ken) Lehto, Thomas (Angela) Olger and loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and the mother of his daughters Shelly Willett.
In the early years Stewart joined the Army and served for a short time with 1/320 battalion as a forward observer. Those that served in the Army with Stewart are quoted, "would love to have him by their side in combat". Stewart moved on to work for The Board of Water and Light and then on to Laborers Union Local 499. Stewart was most recently working as an Equipment Operator for the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 324.
Stewart was a very charismatic, spontaneous, and outgoing person who made gatherings fun for everyone. He made others feel welcomed and everyone became his buddy. Stewart enjoyed sharing the outdoors with others, rather working long hours on construction sites, boating on the lake, fishing with his girls or snowmobiling. Stewart was very proud of his ingenuity and work ethic. He was quick to help others and those around him knew he could fix almost anything around the house or on a worksite. Stewart enjoyed the simple things, dinner at a nice restaurant, a good movie, or just playing games with family and friends. His love for family and life will never be forgotten. His very best days were spent with his girls Shaylyn, Sydney and Sophie. Stewart was loved and will be missed by everyone.
In lieu of flowers in remembrance of Stewart, take the time to interact with others in your life, get together and reconnect. You are endless Stewart Lynn and will forever be in our hearts and memories.
The family will be holding a celebration of life at 3/23/2025 at Bath American Legion 5480 Clark Road Bath MI at 2:00 p.m.
