Geanna Gail Traylor

August 8, 1967 – September 16, 2025

Geanna Gail Traylor, 58, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on September 16, 2025. She was born in Paris, Kentucky on August 8, 1967.

Geanna had a big heart and a passion for helping both people and animals. She looked past others' faults and valued them for who they truly were, often finding "family" in her friends.

Over the years, Geanna worked in many different roles, from in-home healthcare to serving as a CNA at Central Baptist Hospital. However, the work she loved most was as a night watch and foaling attendant, where she cared for her favorite animals-horses.

She is survived by her husband, Little Ricky Dailey; her children, Nick Faris (Jayde King) and Kristi McAloon (Scot McAloon); and her five grandchildren: London Faris, Charleigh McAloon, Harper McAloon, Keagan Faris, and Violet Faris. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Athena, whom she considered her daughter. She was deeply loved as well by her in-laws, Mama Pearl and Big Rick.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, September 22, from 1–3 p.m. at Care Cremation & Funeral Service, 1304 Bryan Avenue, Lexington, KY 40505.

Geanna would want everyone to "come as you are"-no need to dress up fancy. Comfort was her way. She will be remembered for her kindness, her strong will, her laughter, and her parting words to all who loved her:

"Love ya later, never bye."

Care Cremation and Funeral Service is honored to be entrusted with final care.
