Geff was the most caring and loving person anyone could ever have known. Only those lucky enough to be close to him knew his true genuine charm and witty sense of humor. He would bring life and entertainment to any room he walked into and could start a conversation with anyone who had an ear. He would make you smile and laugh with all his crazy stories and experiences from all his travels. He was very smart and knowledgeable in every aspect of life. He could talk about anything from history to politics, cars, sports, and he would always tell you the funniest, or most stupid jokes and puns that would either give you a good belly laugh or make your eyes roll. He also had an uncanny talent to annoy and insult in the most intelligent way possible when deserved. He was very intuitive in his ability to read people and would always protect the ones he loved from harm. He was a survivor through his stubborn and relentless nature as he always held strong against anything that stood in his way. He indulged in good food, learned to love cooking and excitedly shared his inventive recipes he would so proudly come up with. He unconditionally loved his dogs so very much. They were his shadow everywhere he went. He took pride and joy in taking them for walks around the property, throwing the ball or frisbee and he always spoke with them as second person because they were his children. Deep in his heart he was truly a free spirit and felt very passionate about finding himself through travel and experience. He was admirably a very big dreamer and always had a master plan for his future in retirement. He often spoke of grand plans to travel Americana and all over the world to experience some of the best fisheries. He was honorably your best friend, always there for you when he was needed, giving the stars and moon if he could. He was genuinely loyal to everyone he loved. That was Geff.
Geff was born and raised in Renton, WA, the youngest of three siblings. He attended grade school in the Kennydale neighborhood where he established close life-long childhood friendships and then graduated from Renton High. In the early 90's he decided to travel and ended up owning a bar in Mexico for a few years where he lived life changing experiences and met many special people that influenced his outlook on life. It became a pivotal point for his decisions about how he wanted to steer his own destiny. After moving back to Washington, he met his soul mate who became the love of his life, and eventually settled in Ravensdale, WA.
Growing up, Geff always enjoyed watching and playing baseball. Some of his favorite memories were listening to the games on the radio together with his
grandfather and sharing Baseball Nut flavored ice cream on the porch. He was always drawn to the majestic power of the ocean and spoke often about becoming a merchant marine. Instead, he dedicated time teaching himself how to surf as he traveled to several different countries exploring beautiful coastlines. Ultimately fishing became his passion. No matter how sunny, cold, windy or rainy he loved everything from catching ocean fish to lake and river fishing with his buddies. He found great enjoyment going away on his fishing trips, smoking all the fish he caught and sharing the fruits of his labor.
In his working career he was a mastermind for controlling his own destiny. He strongly expressed and advocated not working for anyone except for himself. With relentless determination he figured out the logistics of making a way for his path. He began working in the trucking industry in his early 20's and successfully built up and managed his own corporate empire for over 30 years. Over the course of time, he established many close relationships with well-known corporate entities, and he also took very good care of all his employees along the way. He instilled a positive impact in everyone with all his knowledge, skills and professionalism while he retained good relationships throughout his entrepreneurial journey.
Geff has touched countless people in their lives with his loving spirit and soul. He will live infinitely in our hearts and memories and will forever be loved by all who knew him.
You will be deeply missed more than words can ever say.
May you spread your wings and let your spirit fly and may the Angels in Heaven always watch over you and keep you safe and at peace.

Geff lives on in my heart. I have great memories of jumping the sand rail on the dunes, doing donuts on the quad and tipping over, fun days on the mo-mo, I even think fondly of the constant testing of my gullibility. Most of all, thanks for being Dorothy's partner in live. To Geff! Your name will always be accompanied with good times and laughter.

Geoff was a great guy to work with and always did his best to work with you. He and Dorothy always asked about the family and got the kids gifts. He will definitely be missed and wonder if he is able to fish up there. If not he would be pissed. He was a great guy and had a pretty significant impact in my life in the short time I knew him.

So very sorry for you, my friend, I remember the days when we first met, and you were dabbling with getting in the car business. He used to see almost every day up at the car lot. Talk to you a couple months ago we talked about going fishing. I wish now that we would´ve made time. We´re always good to me and you made me laugh quite a bit.
And to Dorothy, I´m so sorry, honey. He was a good man and he left this world way too early!!!
My thoughts are for you and the family he´ll be missed, but he´ll never be forgotten by me ever..
