Saucier, Mississippi - Gena Annette Field Dougharty, age 85, of Saucier, MS passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022, at her residence.
Gena was a longtime resident of the MS Gulf Coast. She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching movies.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lt. Col. Eugene Field and Kay Field; her spouse, Lt. Col. Marvin E. Dougharty, Jr. and a brother, John Field.
She is survived by her children, James Martin, Terrell Dougharty (Sue) and Brian Dougharty (Marie); grandchildren Hannah Dougharty, Grace Dougharty, J.D. Martin and Andrew Martin; her sister, Carla Field and her beloved Grey Cat.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15452 O'Neal Road, Gulfport, MS followed by a service at 1:00 p.m.

This woman was kind to everyone, opened her home to many. Took care of her family always. For as long as I knew the family, Meme was a constant source of support and love. My condolences her family. Thank you to Meme for all the love she gave over the years.
