Gene E. Beaird

Funeral services for Mr. Gene E. Beaird, 81 of Winnsboro, LA will be 11 AM Monday, February 2, 2026, at Wayside Pentecostal Church with Rev. Tommy Cotton officiating, interment to follow in Providence Memorial Cemetery, visitation will be from 10 am until service time Monday at the Church all under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home Winnsboro, LA.

Mr. Beaird, a member of Wayside Pentecostal Church, was born May 14, 1944, to the union of the late Julius Beaird and the late Naomi Dickerson Beaird and went to his home in heaven January 28, 2026. He was a retired Seismograph specialist with many oil companies' exploration, and was also a diesel mechanic, one of the best machinist and welders around, he was a hard-working Godly man his entire life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, James Beaird, Donnie Beaird, and Wayne Beaird.

Gene is survived by his wife of 61 years Mary E. Beaird; one son, John E.Beaird; and one daughter Glenda Carrington and her husband David; grandchildren, Anthony Carrington and his wife Jessica, Julian Carrington, Morgan Beaird, and Jonathan Beaird; two great grandsons, Cooper Issaic Carrington and Cohen David Carrington.

Pallbearers will be Claude Bennett, Adam Carrington, Allen Dickerson, Matthew Dickerson, Phillip Hutto, and Tim Wollerson.

Honorary Pallbearer is Daniel Parker.
