Gene Cliver Obituary
Gene was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He served in the US Army and was honorably discharged in 1947. He loved fishing, especially going to Barnegat Light for flounder. He was a skilled carpenter and craftsman, and retired member of the Philadelphia Carpenter's Union.
He was preceded in death by: his first wife, Dorothy (Frank) Cliver until her passing in 1968 and his second wife, Nancy (Bracalente/Neubert) Cliver until her passing in 2023, his sisters and brother: Carol Cliver, Gail Allen, George Cliver, and Luray Snedecker. He was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Melissa A. Cliver (1968) and a stepson, Gregory Neubert (2002).
Gene is survived by his children: Kenneth Cliver (wife Linda), Robert Cliver (wife Dawn), Ronald Cliver (wife Karen); his stepchildren: Robert Neubert (wife Michelle), Teresa Smith (husband Christopher), and Steven Neubert; his grandchildren: Michael Neubert (wife Alisha), Andrew Neubert (wife Danielle), Melissa Lattanzi (husband Jordan), Kevin Cliver (fiancée Linda Bruno), Michael Staley (wife Kristen), Amber Kirk (husband Jesse), Jonathan Cliver, Katie Cliver; and his great-grandchildren: Andrew Neubert, Zoey Lattanzi, Clara Neubert, and Emily Neubert.
A service and interment will be held at St. Andrew's United Church of Christ, 615 E. Walnut Street, Perkasie, PA at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 7, 2026. Family will receive friends and family from 10:00AM until the time of service. Interment will follow at St. Andrew's Union Cemetery, Perkasie, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Gene's memory to St. Andrew's United Church of Christ, 615 E. Walnut Street, Perkasie, PA 18944.
