Gene Harold McMeen, 76 of Fort Worth, Texas entered into his Heavenly Father's arms on June 29, 2022.
Gene Harold McMeen, 76 of Fort Worth, Texas entered into his Heavenly Father's arms on June 29, 2022. He was born on September 19, 1945, in Galesburg, Illinois to Harold and Betty McMeen.
He worked for Ozark Airlines and TWA for over 40 years where he made countless friends.
Gene is survived by his beloved wife, Helen McMeen, of 40 years; son Chuck Velasquez, grandchildren Jay Thomas Velasquez and wife Hannah, and Jenna Elena Velasquez; sister Deborah Mesey, and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Harold and Betty McMeen and brother James Michael McMeen.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. - 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas. Funeral Service will begin 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas. A committal will follow the service at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas.

I worked with Gene many years ago. Then, I got an opportunity to work with Helen. Gene was a very nice person and everyone in the office knew him. I will always remember him and Helen and their genuine kindness. My sincere condolences on his passing to Helen and the family. I just found out this week.
