It is with great sadness that the family of Gene Arthur Swenson announce his passing on August 13, 2025. Born on August 18th, 1954, Gene was the oldest of five children born to Stanley and Ruth (Adank) Swenson. Gene was born in Arcadia, WI. His father made a career in the United States Air Force so Gene's childhood was spent traveling and living in various places like Florida, Nebraska, California, Texas and England. He graduated from Upper Heyford High School in England. After graduation he moved back to Wisconsin, where he lived for the remainder of his life. Gene is survived by his parents; Stanley and Ruth Swenson. His children; Shannon (Neville) Davidson, Gene Jr. (Bud) (Heather) Swenson, Brittany Swenson, Maiya Swenson and Stepdaughter Jenni Stier. Ten beautiful grandchildren; Hailee, Khrystyna, Klowie, Aakeem, Traevion, Maliik, Alante, Serenity, Nevaari, Kailaani. Brothers; David (Annette) Swenson, Daniel (Maria) Swenson and sister; Terri (Daniel) Klein. Gene is preceded in death by his sister Karen Peebles, several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Gene was a huge sports fan. He loved watching and supporting all the Wisconsin teams; Packers, Brewers, Badgers. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and gardening. Gene was known for his kindness, sense of humor and dedication to his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him. Though you have departed from this world, your spirit continues to shine bright in our lives. Respecting Gene's wishes there will be no funeral service. A private Celebration of Life for the family will be held at a later date.
