Genea Lynn Conner July 28, 1955 – August 21, 2025

Genea Lynn Conner, age 70, of Cleveland and formerly of Brunswick, Georgia passed on to the glorious presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, August 21, 2025.

Genea was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late William L. Conner and Nellie Mae Conner of Young Harris. Genea graduated from Glynn Academy High School in 1973. She was proceeded in death by her parents and her brother Ralph Conner.

Genea is survived by her son, Chad McCarthy, his wife Chelly and grandchildren Annie McCarthy, Lauren Wiley (Jonathan Snook), and Caleb Maddox (Patrica Hall), great-grandchildren William Wiley, Madison Snook, Brian Snook, MaKenzie Maddox, Braxton Clayburn, and Wesley Coleman; her nephew Robert Conner, his wife Amalia and mother Carol Conner; Genea's brother Ronnie Conner, his wife Kelly, niece Julia Clark and nephew Terry Joseph Scheitler; her maternal uncle Russel Hayes, and numerous cousins.

Many people have said Genea was always the sweetest person, the kindest, most gentle spirit they have ever known.
