Geneva Arlene Ritchie

Geneva Arlene Ritchie, 70, of Timberville, died October 28, 2023 at her sister's home in Timberville.
She was born June 30, 1953 and was a daughter to the late Sheffie Halterman and Mazie Dove Halterman Stump.
She had worked at H.D. Lee, Hartz Plant and Best Western in Harrisonburg. She had previously attended Calvary Baptist Church in Timberville.
Surviving are two daughters; Tina Louise Ritchie, of Shenandoah, Susan Elaine Bowman, of Grottoes, three sisters; Linda K. Crider, of Timberville, Mary Halterman, of Harrisonburg, Elma Jean Crawford, of TN, one brother; Moses Halterman, of Charlotte, NC, five granddaughters, one grandson and one great granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by a brother; Bennie Halterman.
A funeral service will be conducted 2 PM Wednesday at the Grandle Funeral Chapel in Broadway. Burial will follow at Halterman Cemetery in Mathias, WV.
Friends may visit the funeral home Tuesday from 9 AM- 7 PM to view and sign the guestbook.
