Mrs. Geneva Louise (Parrish) Whitlatch, 89, of Harrisburg, Arkansas departed this life Monday, August 11, 2025 at Woodbriar Nursing Home in Harrisburg, Arkansas. Geneva was born on September 3, 1935 in Harrisburg, Arkansas the daughter of Jim and Viola Merilee (Orph) Parrish. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Charles Chuck Whitlatch and one brother, Bud Parrish, and one baby Sister. Geneva worked several years at Johansen Shoe Mfg. Company and also American Greetings both in Harrisburg. She is a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Harrisburg. Geneva was a member of the Red Hat Club and American Legion. She enjoyed working puzzles, playing Bingo, different card games, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by one daughter, Paula (David) Riddle of Wynne, Arkansas, three grandchildren: Jennifer (Brian) Karnes of Cherry Valley, Jack (Lily) Stephens of Jonesboro, and John (Wendy) Stephens of Cherry Valley, Arkansas, 11 Great-Grandchildren, several Great-greatgrandchildren, and special friends: Mary Easter and Dale Easter. Visitation will be Thursday ~ August 14, 2025 from 10:00 A. M. until Service Time at 11:00 A. M. at Jackson's Funeral Home in Harrisburg. Bro. Kirk Owens will conduct the service. These men will serve as Active Pallbearers: Michael Stephens, Gage Harland, Deacon Karnes, Gavin Stephens, Blake Tibbs, and Jason Vangilder. Honorary Pallbearers will be Woodbriar Nursing Home Staff in Harrisburg, Arkansas. Interment will be in Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Jackson's Funeral Home.
