Genevieve "Genny" Weston Bosarge passed away at home surrounded by her loving family early morning December 8. Preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Nell Weston, and her brother Robert Weston Jr. She is survived by her husband of 53 plus years Charles "Hudson" Bosarge, their three children, Jennifer (Daryl) Johnson, Scott (Sarah) Bosarge, and Mindi Bosarge, and her six grandchildren; Dylan and Dalton Johnson, Ella and Charli Bosarge, Amelia Tillman, and Anna Claire Bosarge and her brother John (Natalie) Weston.
A picture of southern grace and charm, Genny represented the city of Mobile as an Azalea Trail Maid as a young lady. She was a graduate of the University of South Alabama with a degree in Education and worked in special education for a year before she and Hudson embarked on their journey into parenthood.
A true Proverbs 31 woman, she was known for her kind and sweet nature. She built a home and a life to be proud of as a homemaker and mother. Mothering not only her birth children but fostering all the strays that came her way, human and feline. She was a faithful member of the Coden United Methodist Church and enjoyed her many active years giving back with her ladies group Women of Works.
In lieu of flowers donations to Feeding the Gulf Coast or Coden United Methodist are appreciated and would capture her generous nature and spirit.
Visitation will be held 11am followed by funeral service 12pm at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery.
