Genevieve M. Turner, a beloved matriarch, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2025, at the age of 93. Born on February 5, 1932, Genevieve lived a life filled with love, kindness, and cherished moments. She was known for her warm smile, gentle spirit, and her unwavering commitment to her family.
Throughout her life, Genevieve had a passion for simple pleasures that brought her immense joy. She found comfort in listening to country music, which often accompanied her cherished ritual of enjoying freshly brewed coffee and indulging in her favorite treat—chocolate chip cookies. Family time meant the world to her, and she lovingly dedicated herself to creating lasting memories with her loved ones.
Genevieve leaves behind a loving family who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Brenda (Tom) Hess, alongside her four treasured grandchildren: Starra Lockard, Douglas Turner, James Lockard, and Tiffany Hess. Her legacy continues through her two great-grandchildren, Betzy Robles and Kingston Bowman, Additionally she is survived by countless step grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, as well as a host of other family members and friends who were touched by her warmth and love.
Genevieve was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William B. Turner, and her son, Terrance L. Turner. She also mourned the loss of her father, Albert C. Miller, her mother, Maria Miller, and other extended family members who have gone before her.
A visitation will be held in her honor on December 8, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service that will commence at 1:00 PM, both at Newcomer Funeral Home, St. Peters, located at 837 Mid Rivers Mall Dr, St. Peters, MO 63376. As family and friends gather to celebrate her remarkable life, they will reflect on the love and joy she brought to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Genevieve's spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and she will be deeply missed by all.
