Martha "Trixy" G. Two Bulls was born on June 15, 1975 in
Pine Ridge, SD to Samuel Two Bulls, Sr. and Fleeta Blacksmith-Two Bulls. Trixy made her journey to the Spirit World on July 2, 2024 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Trixy graduated eighth grade from Loneman Day School in 1987. After that, she attended Pine Ridge High School. She loved to dance to music from the artists Prince, GoGos, and Michael Jackson. She spent her teen years on the Powwow Trail and during that time she held seven crowns-Miss Loneman School, Miss Pass Creek, Jr. Miss Black Hills (twice), and Miss Lakota Omniciye. Trixy was a very outspoken, straight to the point woman, she was known to step up and take the leadership role in anything she did. She was active in her community and at one time was President of the Collier Community. She was known for helping the people and she wanted a change in the Reservation because she didn't like that the people were being mistreated; and with everything that was happening all of it influenced her to join the American Indian Movement alongside her mother. Trixy was part of the Grass Roots movement when they took over the OST Tribal Building. After, she became a mother she spent the rest of her days being an amazing mother to her three sons.
Trixy is survived by her mother, Fleeta Blacksmith-Two Bulls; her three sons, Morgan Two Bulls, Colton Romero, and Zuya Romero; her brothers, Sam, Jr. "Jonce" Two Bulls, Randolph, Sr. "Pog" Two Bulls (Randolph Jr. Memory), and Daniel, Sr. "Dude" Two Bulls (Kaylynn, Daniel Jr, Jeremiah Sr, Mark, Danielle Rose); her sister, Mavis Two Bulls ( Just, Josh, Cetan, Ryan, Samantha); her hunny, Gerald American Horse; her hunka sons, Josh Cypher and Cassius Blacksmith; her hunka daughter, Celia Makes Him First; her uncle, Francis Two Bulls, Sr.; her aunts, Julie Garnier and Christine Lajtay; her nephew, Curtis Two Bulls, Jr. " CJ "; ALL of her Grandchildren; her adopted siblings, Rachel Nava, Mirjam Zimmerman-Roeschmann, and Brandie Radigan; and her cats Black Doug Romero and Groot Romero.
Trixy is preceded in death by her husband, Tim Romero; son, Angel Romero; father, Samuel Two Bulls, Sr.; siblings, Curtis Two Bulls, Sr., David Two Bulls, and Sterling Two Bulls; grandson, Jax Ross; aunts, Philomine Lakota, Lorna Running Shield, Mazie Red Bow, Elizabeth Belt, and Ramona Colhoff; uncles, Aloysius Blacksmith, Bob Two Bulls, Sr., Franklin Two Bulls, Sr., and Peter Two Bulls, Jr.; grandparents, Max Blacksmith and Lorna Fights Bear, Peter Two Bulls, Sr. and Martha Helper.
