Geoffrey Bryant Neagle, a loving husband, father, and cherished friend to many, passed away on December 26, 2024, peacefully at his home in Boxborough, MA.
Born on June 5, 1947, he lived a life rich in service, dedication, and love. His legacy lives on through the values he imparted to his children and the love he shared with those who knew him.
Geoff was a Navy Veteran who served honorably during the Vietnam War. He obtained a degree in Marine Biology from UMass Amherst and continued his studies to include Fire Science.
Geoff was most passionate about his family and giving back to the community. He loved music, fishing, fly tying, and camping. He made long-lasting friendships wherever he traveled.
Another of his great passions was the Fire Service. He loved being a part of a brotherhood whose sole purpose was giving aid where needed. He put his heart and soul into the Fire Service, and he retired as Chief to enjoy his many hobbies.
The son of George and Barbara Neagle of Acton, MA leaves behind his wife, Mari Ann, his son, George with Katie Barrett, his daughter, Kimberly with Andrew Loynd, his sister Julie Weeks, and extended family in Maine. His presence will be deeply missed by all.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Breakthrough Type 1 Diabetes (Formerly JDRF) in Geoff's name.
A memorial visitation will be held in the Acton Funeral Home, 470 Massachusetts Avenue (Rt. 111), Acton, on Saturday, January 11, 2025 from 2 - 5 PM.
