Eric Sahlberg, March 8, 1952 – March 7, 2026

HARRISON, ME - Eric Sahlberg, 73, of Harrison, Maine, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2026, just one day shy of his 74th birthday.

Born on March 8, 1952, Eric grew up in Stow, Massachusetts. He was a member of the Nashoba Regional High School Class of 1970. Shortly after graduation, he married his beloved wife, Susan. Together, they shared a devoted partnership that spanned over five decades, building a life founded on mutual love, hard work, and shared dreams. They had two sons, Eric and Adam, five grandchildren and four grandchildren.

A true craftsman with an unmatched work ethic, Eric spent his lifelong career as a plumber and construction supervisor. Over the decades, he became known for his deep expertise, reliability, and attention to quality he brought to every job site. His hands built and repaired countless projects, and his guidance mentored many in the trades along the way including his son Adam and grandson Thomas.

Eric and Susan relocated to Harrison, Maine. He continued to work for another couple decades until their retirement. There, he was able to trade the busy pace of construction sites for the quiet, natural beauty of Maine, enjoying the well-deserved tranquility of his surroundings.

He will be remembered as a dedicated husband, a highly skilled tradesman, and a dependable friend. He leaves behind his wife, Susan, as well as the many friends, colleagues, and community members who had the privilege of knowing him.

Eric had a deep faith as a Christian and was a long-time member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Acton. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 16, at 11:00 am, at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, at 472 Massachusetts Ave. Acton, MA.
